The Hurricane Katrina Aftermath
Prophetic Vision

My prayers go
out to all those who have lost loved ones and are affected by
Hurricane Katrina. Yesterday August 29, 2005, I was in prayer
seeking God’s Face for the meaning of the Katrina Hurricane
Disaster. I listened to some News Media as the Hurricane hit The
Gulf Coast area and some News Reporters were saying that the
apocalyptic disaster that was expected had not happed and that
New Orleans had been spared a catastrophe. The Lord then spoke
to me in a small still voice and said, “they are lying, New
Orleans has not be spared”. A heavy burden lay upon me
yesterday August 29, 2005 that disaster had hit New Orleans and
I knew then something was wrong with the News Reports. The Lord
had me pray for the elect down in the Gulf Coast Area.
As I was waiting
on the evening hours on August 29, 2005, The Lord gave me a
vision where I was taken down to New Orleans and into a huge
Church building that looked like the superdome but much smaller.
The building was torn apart by the hurricane and the walls and
roof torn apart and destroyed. All the expensive Church property
was totally destroyed. I met the Pastor of the Church who was
salvaging for some reason clothing in the destroyed Church
wreckage.
He told me, “The
Lord has sent this wind because of the Church in Louisiana. He
has specifically sent this wind to tare us apart. We are torn
apart, we have nothing left. The Lord who has torn us apart will
heal us. The Lord sent His wind to tare us down and leave us
with nothing and we torn down. The Lord has torn us apart and He
will heal us.”
The Pastor continued with the mumblings out of
sorrow those same words, “ He has torn us apart, He will heal
us”, as he picked rags of clothes from the destroyed church as
this was the only valuables he could salvage. After this I
remembered the scripture…
Hosea 6:1-3
1
Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he
will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2
After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise
us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3 Then shall
we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is
prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain,
as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
After this
vision, I thought to myself that the vision was just speaking
only prophetically in a futuristic sense because the reports
were that no serious damage had been done in New Orleans. The
Lord then reminded me again that disaster was happening despite
what the media reported. The Lord said to me, “the City will
Flood”.
I pray that
Christians in America will allow The Lord to speak to their
hearts through this disaster and that we shall not harden our
hearts to the dealings of The Lord with us. He has torn us and
will continue to do so with more disasters but He has promised
to heal us if we shall return to Him in Humility and cry out to
Him for Salvation. More Natural disasters loom for the West
Coast and great humbling are coming to the way of the West
Coast.
The Lord God Himself is orchestrating this, He will tare
this nation apart but to those who will return to Him, He will
be gracious and merciful to heal. The message is a warning to
The American Church not to sleep but awake and return to her
First Love with Jesus Christ; the times of great trials are upon
America and will increase greatly that the hearts of America’s
Princes will fail.
This is a time
to totally give our selves to Love The Lord. It is a time to
love our neighbours as we love our selves. Send a prayer and
give to those in need affected by these disasters, let The Lord
lead you and remember He who gives to the poor lends to The
Lord.
