There is no doubt that we live in the last days and there is a lot that is going on around the world besides the current global economic crisis, not to mention the ‘Swine Flu’ epidemic. However, paranoia, irrationality, anxiety, and sensationalism are the driving force of fear especially among some  Christian circles.

With the release of the movie ‘Knowing’ starring of course Nicholas Cage, it might be that pop culture is finally throwing all the ‘Left Behind’ books back to Tim LaHaye. Although the movie received not very good ratings among the ‘Movie Critics’, it is serving its purpose to ‘engineer’ public opinion and perception towards Bible Prophecy and Christianity in general.

There was a time when the Jews in Palestine were carried away captive by a foreign power to a land that was not their own. They were deported to Babylon because of the sins they had committed before The Lord.

Jeremiah the Prophet had prophesied against their sins and evil and warned them that they would be carried into exile in Babylon for 70 years. The Jews did not heed to Jeremiah but instead persecuted him until the day that Babylonian armies came and raided Jerusalem and took the Jews captive in Babylon.

We all now know that the current economic crisis is not just limited to the USA but is global. There is no “Economic Safe Zone” on the face of this planet called Earth. The only safe place economically is Heaven and as far as I can tell The Lord has not raptured any Christian yet out of this current economic mess.

Are you as a Christian still perturbed by an Obama Presidency? Well, I had a discussion with one individual online about the same issue and they responded to me with a question wanting to know if Idi Amin, Uganda’s former notorious Dictator was a Servant of God? Well, this individual was trying to draw parallels between Obama and Idi Amin. However, even though the question was far fetched from this individual, as Uganda is not America and Obama is not Idi Amin…, I decided to answer by asking a few questions of my own to this individual…

There is a lot of talk among Bible Prophecy and Eschatological circles about the US being Babylon the Great spoken about in Revelations 17 and 18. The characteristics, definitions, symbolism, and Bible Prophecy parameters in Revelation 18 all point to this great and wealthy City – State - Nation in the last days that reigns over all nations of the world. There is no other nation present on earth that can precisely fit the parameters of Revelation 18 like the USA does.

  The coming together of the "melting pot" of humanity known as the United States of America is an astonishing thing to behold.  It is breathtaking.  What happened on November 4th is truly an historical event that will profoundly affect all of the nations.  Only those with a heart of steel and a mind that relishes in America's enslavement of black people will not be thankful that the oppression and injustices done to black-skinned people is finally over as the first black American is elected to the Presidency.

It is now evident that the global economic current crisis is not just about the “collapse” of the USA or its financial systems but rather the manipulation of the ‘American Financial Crisis’ and US Global Financial Conglomerates into creation of a New Financial World Order.

The EU has been at the helm of the New Financial World Order Movement, agitating for its creation out of the current financial crisis. The EU has realized that they cannot accomplish such ambition alone without their co-dependent relationship with the US.
