The plan to unite religions is based on many platforms. However one of the most notorious ones is that of drawing unity from Abraham. What many do not know is that the uniting front is actually man ordinances .
The 'Abrahamic faiths' happen to be three in number,The Jewish, Christian and Islamic strains of 'faith'.However true Christians know that true faith is from the seed of Abraham Jesus Christ alone. All the same these three have dominated religion worldwide with Christianity and Islam being at loggerheads.
What is interesting is that despite their glaring differences they have similarities which makes it possible to compact them into one class called Organized Religion. In viewing these similarities one should exclude True/Biblical Christianity
.All thrive on carnal or man ordinances..... Jesus did away with these by his death and resurrection.
.All build physical buildings to worship hence emphasize on outward glory.
.All seek to establish righteousness by works even when it contradicts with God's righteousness.
.All seek the earthly riches to satisfy their carnal cravings of power and riches.
On the issue of establishing righteousness it is interesting to note that all three draw moral instruction from the Old Testament Law. Although the Islamic Qur'an heretically disowns the prophets and the deity of Jesus Christ, they have laws similar to that given to the Hebrews by Moses.
So today we see that all three are moralistic but tend to differ on many fronts on morality such as marriage and family and property.
But Jesus died for the transgressions under the old testament .Hence those who believe in him are under grace of God and not the Law for righteousness.
These carnal religions still employ tough moral codes and worship practices to control man because when they as leaders declare them or show skill in using them over the masses they know that the masses see them as people who practice them and are legitimately spiritual leaders since they declare them However this is just man finding solace in his works rejecting God's righteousness which establishes God 's authority.
Hence there is in Christendom an ABUSE OF OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES
EXPLAINING THE ABUSE
Many claim to like the Old Testament scriptures because it gives room for praying against their enemies, calling for war against other nations .Others find solace in polygamy since some characters had more than one wife.
In short people pick what they want and do not keep the Law to the letter. Even when it comes to the New Testament scriptures people pick what they want . Hence feigned faith and devotion to God. Yet there is curse for those who do not keep the whole law.
But it is the Old testament scriptures that are used to justify carnal urges and carnal control. Yet the same scriptures witness about the New Testament and Jesus Christ who is the end of the law for righteousness. But it is this same Jesus Christ Organized religion rejects.
Organized religion rejects the blood of Jesus and sticks to their works to be sanctified before God. This makes them eligible for the Pharisee spirit of self righteousness hence a message of death to sinners instead of life through Jesus Christ when the sinner repents.
It is this same Organized religion that has sanctioned killing of many people.
A lot of blood is on the hands of the Jewish religious system that sanctioned the death of Christians and persecuted the church in Acts.
A lot of blood in the hands of Christendom that killed many who stood against false doctrines and in the crusades killing Jews and Moslems. A lot of blood in the hands of Islam in killing those who do not adhere to Islam and hating the Jews.
So we see Organized religion wanting to be the moral authority when they have stains of iniquity. Instead of declaring that the true moral authority is the word of God, Jesus Christ, they insist that they because they are near God through their religious rites are the moral authority.
HISTORICAL EXAMPLES OF ABUSE OF OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES
The ferocious persecution of the church during the days of the Apostles
The Counter Reformation Inquisition and the Crusades
Inhuman Slavery in the Deep South by so called Christians
PRESENT AND FUTURE EXAMPLES OF ABUSE
Tribalism... like the Jews were set apart so is one tribe set apart against the rest.
Racism ..like the Jews were set apart as special so can a race be special against others
Moral Legislation/Laws in the name of God with destructive punishments
Desire to make Christian constitutions and Christian parliaments and armies.
Right to bear arms against any enemy
Yet the same Old Testament Scriptures foretell of the coming of the Prophet , the Lord Jesus Christ,who spoke the word of God and taught other wise of the above practices which so called Christians are saying they can follow because they are biblical!! IGNORANCE
Political Christians criticize Sharia Law yet with their new zeal for Religious Government they are seeking is no different from that of the Iran or Saudi Arabia. Christians should turn away from the temptation to play God.
END TIME IMPLICATIONS
Jesus foresaw a time when people will kill others in the name of God or as if they are serving him. What is morphing out of the immoral chaos of the world i today as a false moral majority that will think it right to punish sinners in the name of God.
The Government is legally allowed to punish those who offend their laws but the Church is not supports to be part of that punishment unless they are saying they are part of the government.
The Church should preach the righteousness of God, speak the truth without hypocrisy and leave judgment and vengeance to the Lord.
However Christendom is running to the Government to establish righteousness by works on unbelievers to the point of death. Not in line with the church from the beginning hence should not be part of church today. T
his is a lie which will lead many to worship the carnal man of sin who like Satan transform himself into an angle light. Since organized religion is carnal it is bound to accept the carnal system of the antichrist which is Satanic .
Ecumenism or unity or religions is using morality to solidify one world religion.
Ecumenism in total rejects Jesus Christ hence cannot have the Holy Spirit who is the seal for the inheritance for true Christians those who will enter the kingdom of God.
