Is the New Testament Biased Against The Rich?

So, is the New Testament against rich people per say? I do not think so. On the contrary, the New Testament clearly warns against trusting in wealth and riches and calls for those who are blessed with riches and wealth, in humility to do justice to the poor and provide and care for those who are less fortunate, rather than gloat and boast in arrogance.

The book of Hebrews is one of those New Testament books that calls for the Christian to take responsibility insofar as their faith in Jesus Christ is concerned, a problem that some Theologians from the Calvinist and Predestination camps find hard to grasp. It is one of those books that proponents of the 'Once Saved Always Saved' doctrines always try to explain away.

May 21st came and passed by with no Rapture Event taking place  as was publicized by Harold Camping. Christians and Christianity again became a mockery and a joke on late night comedy. Furthermore, Bible Prophecy was reduced to ridicule and derision.

In his defense and oral treatise, Stephen in the Book of Acts employs the term 'church' in his description of the children of Israel in the wilderness under the leadership of Moses. The children of Israel seemed not to have been aware of the 'separation' and 'coming out' that The Lord intended for  the  'church' in the wilderness and thus the longing for a return to Egypt.
